- KPKai PhillipsDec 1, 20251.0DO NOT trust personal banker Jorge Martinez at this Reno branch with your personal information. It was discovered that Jorge Martinez used his position at Wells Fargo to fraudulently add at least one individual to multiple Wells Fargo credit accounts without their knowledge or consent. These unauthorized accounts had balances that damaged their credit at the worst possible time. Wells Fargo customer service CONFIRMED this by locating several accounts and removed them using only the person's SSN; proof it was never authorized with the individual having zero knowledge about these accounts. A formal fraud complaint was delivered in person to the branch manager and sent to corporate on November 21, 2025. The bank claims it is “under investigation.” This is not a glitch or oversight. This is an employee committing fraud from inside the bank, using customer data he has access to because of his job. I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for years and have used this branch multiple times. That ends now. If an employee can secretly add people to accounts and tank their credit, what stops him from doing it to anyone else? Bank anywhere else. This branch is not safe. (December 2025 – will gladly update or remove if Wells Fargo actually holds him accountable)
