- TMTito MotoJan 24, 20251.0Discriminatory and Unprofessional Experience at This Branch I’ve been a long-time customer of Wells Fargo, but my recent experience at this branch was nothing short of traumatic. On January 22, 2025, I visited to request a cashier’s check, and the level of service I received was incredibly disappointing. The teller, Jozelyn, was friendly and professional, but the real issue came from Lynn, who was the checker. After verifying my information and providing the necessary documentation, Lynn started questioning the source of the funds in a condescending manner. She specifically said, “This type of money doesn’t usually come to your account,” She then proceeds to question how I got the money, what was my job and how long have I worked at said job which was not only unprofessional but felt discriminatory. how dare I have money on my account right? I had already provided proof that the funds were legitimate, did the verification process and there was no reason for such unnecessary questioning. She still insisted and was not convinced, mind you this is a cashiers check.. on a DEBIT CARD. What followed was an 30mim to hour-long delay as Lynn made me wait while allegedly confirming the source of my money. Even Jozelyn Started apologizing on Lyn’s behalf when I started expressing my concerns. Meanwhile, there were people lining up behind me, and I felt humiliated as she discussed my finances loudly with Jozelyn in front of everyone. To make matters worse, Lynn mocked my name in a very rude and condescending tone as I was leaving, which was deeply upsetting. I want to make it clear that this type of behavior should never happen in a professional setting, especially at a branch I’ve trusted for years. I hope Wells Fargo takes this complaint seriously so no one else has to go through the same distressing experience.
