We began referring to it as the nice bank. Everyone was welcoming and cheerful while getting out banking taken care of.
- MMMiddlefingergodJul 23, 20251.0NSB recently changed their fee policy on their checking accounts with absolutely no notice of any kind. It used to be if you used your debt card 10 times or more a month that they would wave the 9.00 service fee. I was charged the service fee for the first time this month after never being charged ever before. Their new policy did away with the 10 times a month debt card and instead now you have to have 250.00 a month in direct deposits. The company I work for is extremely small family owned and does not offer direct deposit. So I'm stuck having to pay 9.00 a moth to have my checking account. I only found all this out after I called then to ask about the fee on my account. NO NOTICE WAS GIVEN AND I NEVER AGREED OR SIGNED ANYTHING SAYING IT WAS OK. STAY AWAY FROM NSB as they have become obviously greedy and really doesn't care about their customers anymore. They never even offered to waive the fee for this month until I filled out a questionnaire complaining about the fee
