- NDN DOct 17, 20252.0Citibank is a cockroach motel, you can put money in but you can't get it out. You can transfer a ton in easily through ACH, but only a little out per day. So you move some one day, again the next, then they say thats enough, wait another month. So you find a branch since the online wire transfer limit is even lower, which means travelling to a major city, sitting with a banker, proving you are who you are, etc (he was great, citibank corporate is the problem). When you finish he says, keep your phone on and they'll give you a call. Why? To keep you from getting your money out. Their fraud dept called 2x, couldn't hear me either time so they hung up. l call them the next day and spend another half hour on the phone with a pilipino going through a list of random security questions for a WIRE I ALREADY SIGNED FOR, IN PERSON, AND WAS COMPLETELY VERIFIED! They really think this is how to run a bank? They are a credit card company only, DON'T FALL FOR THE TEASER INTEREST RATE like I did!

The teller was so slow it literally took us 15 minutes to deposit a check withdraw some cash and exchange some Euros. Not only did they charge $5 to exchange $13 but the teller was slow and rude. Her name was Juliet. It made me so disappointed that i even came inside. I would be embarrassed if i was the branch manager. No wonder people use ATM’s this bank is giving banking a bad name. Im certainly glad i only have a credit card and i actually bank elsewhere.
