Instead of saying, “Unfortunately, we won’t be able to cash this check for you.” She abruptly cut me off as she noticed that my check was already signed. My bank account rejected the electronic deposit for some reason. I was trying to find a quick solution, as today is Veterans Day and banks are closed. She made the experience awful. There is absolutely no reason to act like someone is incompetent because they are unaware of a certain rule or protocol. People like this woman shouldn’t be allowed to work in a customer service environment. She did not even greet me when I walked in. I walked up to the counter and she acted like I was a burden because she was taping some decorations on the window and responded as if I “rudely” interrupted her decorating. A smile is contagious, learn to smile, lady.
