Well, I am from out of state and I got an account with zions because they told me they have banks in nevada. Well.... there has been a few issues. Firstly, I dropped of a check and noticed it never cleared into my account over the weekend. Well, they put my money into the wrong account. Luckily they were able to fix it. So the next time I went there and just cashed it and it wasn't too much of an issue. She was able to give me all the cash. I go there today and she says she can't cash the check and gave me all these reasons that didn't apply the first time I cashed a check. She said she would have to deposit it and I would have to wait a day to have access. The checks are what I get from my work for lodging and I've had to cash them many times with no issues and they definitely aren't going to bounce. It's very inconvenient to work with this bank.

I have visited and had accounts with banks in multiple states but I have never been in a bank with a rude teller before. My husband and I were looking to open an account with a local bank. We will definitely be looking elsewhere.

I recently moved to Nevada from Idaho. We opened an account with NV state bank. Last week we closed our bank accounts in Idaho and were given a cashiers check. I deposited this check at this branch last Thursday. I was told that since it was over 5000 dollars that they were going to put a hold on the check, for seven business days, on the amount that exceeded 5,000. Which I consented too. I checked my online balance the next day and it reflected this. My available balance reflected $5,000 more available and the additional amount still pending. I wanted to make a big purchase for Christmas. Today I checked my online balance right before purchasing and now the entire amount of that check is still pending and not reflected in my available online balance. This prevented me from making a purchase, today, that I traveled out of town to make. Keep in mind this is a cashiers check from my old bank that was issued when I closed my account, far from a risky personal check. I am clueless why this bank changed their mind and did this without informing me. I am beyond annoyed and will be exploring other banking options in the Elko area. There is nothing like not having access to your money during the Christmas season.

I made my first bank account here & it was a very good experience. Everyone was nice & helpful. Alejandra was opening my account for me, she made everything very clear & made sure I understood everything about my account before I left. Super nice staff!
