- DCDaniel CartwrightNov 1, 20251.0Took a check to the bank, mind you I have been with them awhile, the person who wrote the check was also a member of this bank and i cash checks from them all the time. Took it through the drive through told the lady I wanted to deposit it, she took it thought everything was good intel I looked at my account, they had a hold on it for no reason. Went back talked to the manager wandering why it wasn't clear, she even looked to see my status on any hold told me I didn't have any and she didnt know why it didn't go through yet. So I asked the manger if she could just pull the check and cash it for me. She stated she could not go into the ladys account who took my check at the driver though. I understood that part but what was frustrating was I asked If I could wait and come back In 1 hour when the lady returned from lunch and just cash it then and she told me they only had a 1h window to pull the check and cash it and it would be to late so her hands where tied and I needed to call customer service. I went and waited for another banker to call customer service even he was surprised I had no holds and they didn't even give me the 400 dollars up front like normal. Customer service refued to release the money in the end. Even with no holds and the banker even told them my situation. It put me leaving a day late. Showed me they do not value the customer. Replying to Wells Fargo comment, We was on our way to a funeral and because of the inconvenience it put us a day behind and it showed me how your company really cares about its people. Will not be using you guys anymore.

- JFJason FerrellOct 21, 20231.0Absolute worst bank EVER. In the span of 10 days they placed holds on checks I deposited and returned one BECAUSE OF MY SIGNATURE!!! Then held my payroll check stating there is ‘suspicious’ activity on the account paying me. Well my boss has no notifications and it shows posted in her account. I closed both of my accounts and am moving down the road!! You guys are the worst ever.
