  Went into the bank because I’ve been calling all morning and afternoon. Went inside and said, I’ve tired calling and no one answered. At the time I went in, there was no one. And this AUSTIN boy rudely says. ‘When it’s busy, we don’t answer’ (uh! It was not busy 15 mins prior coming side. I was in the parking lot. On the phone) and he then says ‘What do you want?”. EXCUSE ME? What do I want?! Can’t you be any more rude? Don’t worry. I didn’t say anything else cause you don’t deserve my time. And tries to over talk me saying “How can I help you?”. Go to the other WellsFargo Branch. They’ll probably be more polite. Wait for my review on that branch. **UPDATE** Called the corporate office and filed a complaint, NO ONE should be talked to like that especially a person you don’t even know. It is disrespectful.

  My stepdaughter, who was visiting from South Texas, wanted to cash a check (a Wells Fargo Check), that was given to her by her grandfather. The manager was extremely rude and would not cash it, since she didn't have a second ID on hand. It was not until her mother told the manager that we lived here, in Carlsbad, amd showed her a photo of her social security card was she helped but still rudely. This so typical of the people in this town and this bank. If you aren't from Carlsbad and you don't have a checking account with Wells Fargo, good luck! This is exactly why I refuse to bank with Wells Fargo or do any banking in Carlsbad. If you really need to do some banking business go to Artesia and join a credit union, at least they are hospitable to out-of-towners and Texans. If you are from Texas keep dealing with your bank back home, at least you will treated with some respect.

  Long lines and tellers don’t understand their own policies. I waited in line for 25 minutes to be told that I can’t perform an electronic transfer between two Wells Fargo accounts, something I have done multiple times before. Even if their policy had changed, they could have at least shown some empathy or basic customer service skills. Overall, it just seems like the representative could have cared less.
