However the policies of the credit union is too invasive. I bring my driver's licenses, passport, social security card, and birth certificate. I also had my name and address. The credit union told me that I needed to show a phone bill with the address on it or my lease. What if I was living with an family members and bills weren't in my name?? This policy is so crazy and doesn't make sense when I am simply opening a SAVINGS account!!! I truly hope this credit union close down or fix their policies People are trying to simply do better with their lives and this credit union putting people through hoops and ladders just to open a SAVINGS account is ridiculous.bi definitely will not try to open an account with them never in my life.

There is a minimum deposit of $25 to open a checking account. Depending on which account you open, there may also be other cost considerations or minimum balances to avoid fees.

What are the regular branch hours for Rio Grande Credit Union?
The branch is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
