I only went to this location because my usual branch is closed on Saturdays. The teller inside and the manager were beyond rude to customers and offered little to no help. It made me appreciate the other location and their true customer service and willingness to help even more than I already do.

I should have known better when I saw the star rating of this branch. I live in Queens and there aren’t any WF there, I have to go to Manhattan to access a branch. I happened to be in the area visiting my lawyer and saw this branch was 3 min away so I took the opportunity to visit. I have 3 small children and it’s not easy to run errands let alone in the city where traffic and parking are a nightmare so this worked perfect. I went to open a UTMA acct for my youngest. My 2 older children model and NYS mandates a work permit which requires a trust form to be signed and stamped by the bank. The form is accesible on the DOL site, a government site, and I’ve had this done for one of my children by another WF. I approached Tamara M for help and I explained needing the form signed. She was dismissive and said she can’t sign anything. She said she has to ask a manager but they were in meetings. I agreed to wait until they finished but she must’ve said it like 10x that she wasn’t sure she could sign the form I needed. I was able to speak to a manager who said it was fine for her to sign the form. She went to print the form and when she came back she still refused to sign it. She said I needed to go to court for it, I explained I didn’t but she wouldn’t help me. Not only was she insubordinate to her manager but she refused to do her job. Her lack of education on the matter and willingness to help made this a terrible experience. Even before she asked her manager you can tell Tamara did not want to help me. I don’t have a lot of time to get these things done and she completely wasted my time. Now I have to find time to drive into the city, pay a sitter to open the acct at another branch. Staff need to be educated on the types of accts the banks can open and why. If she had better training she’d comprehend but such a small minded individual couldn’t fathom that my kids model, need a work permit and the state requires this form from a bank. Like it was the most far fetched thing. I’ve been a customer since 2019, she sees my son has an acct open already and I needed the same thing done for my daughter and still gave me a hard time. Poor excuse for an employee. Avoid coming here to these small town, inexperienced people.

Horrible service, the lady at the front desk was dry and dismissive, almost felt like I was bothering while making my deposit.
