- MAMichael AnthonyMar 16, 20151.0Perhaps the worst bank I've ever banked with. Their on-line banking is down A LOT ( as in weekly ) . Their staff in most of the branches ( ESPECIALLY Pine in Union ) are tedious. You will never leave a branch after a visit not feeling exhausted. Service varies wildly from branch to branch. ( Pacific in Ironbound Newark is one of their few good ones .... but you shouldn't have to plan your day around finding the least awful branch. ) Their fees are crazy and there is a VERY good reason that the State of New York took action against them for consumer violations including balance manipulation. They were convenient as they had branches close to where I needed to be , but moved to a neighborhood bank & NEVER regretted it for a minute. I really can't say one good thing about this bank. I think they're borderline criminal on a lot of things they do.
