- MPManish PatelSep 8, 20251.0Extremely Disappointing In-Person Service I’m an existing customer who came in to open a CD. Despite there being no customers at two counters for over 25 minutes, I was told I’d have to wait an hour and a half because a third employee was out for a one-hour lunch. I’ve already been sitting here for over an hour with no progress. While I know a CD can be opened online, I have a check that requires opening it in person. Unfortunately, this branch consistently delivers the worst in-person service. To make matters worse, I just watched another employee leave for lunch — meaning I’ll likely waste close to two hours before anyone even helps me. Capital One really needs to address the chronic understaffing and lack of urgency at this location.

The teller didn’t even say hi… i said I am here to pay my bill, she said she needs an ID even if I have handed her the credit card. It so happened, I left it my car…she reminded me they are closing in few minutes. She asked another person about it. In which he said as long as I have the card it is alright. She then said, I will allow it this one time because we are closing. I didn’t have this problem when I pay in person, as long as I have the card. More so, she didn’t accept because my check was pay to Mastercard instead of Capital One and said we are closing too. I get it that they are eager to go home but I am in the bank… they are just in hurry to ho home.
