- SGShahin GOct 16, 20251.0Avoid at all Cost (haha it will cost you extra). Was debating exchanging from USD to Pounds. Was on a whim. I paid $158 + $9 fee for £100. I was definitely taken advantage off since the current rates would’ve netted me around £115. I should’ve checked before but I didn’t think much of it. Pretty disappointed. Beware. Essentially robbed of £15. Wouldn’t mind if it was maybe £5 but just awful.

- RDrobert dassyJul 10, 20251.0I tend not to fly out of newark airport because it seems like majority of the employees come to work already in a bad mood. While maneuvering through the airport and asking employees direction or information seemed as if it was a hassle for them to help traveling passengers. From the agents that assist customers at the kiosks , to the bag agents , these folk seem exhausted with their jobs and it shows in the way they give customers service. The tipping point for me is going to the currency exchange to ask questions. At 630am on a week day the agent had her head laying on the counter as if she was in High school and was very short/ border line rude when greeted and asked " are you able to make change" . Although there are many cosmetic improvements..the service and attitude sucks here, which is very disconcerting. I going forward i will make it a point to share my experiences with anyone considering this airport.
