  Tried to apply for an account online. It said to come into the branch in-person. It was an hour each way for me to get. When I get there, they said that a supervisor would need to approve the application and a supervisor wasn’t available. Complete waste of my time.

  So I'm not a customer here but my boss that writes me checks every week is. I had a check that needed to be cashed from this bank. I've never even heard of this bank and was curious to see what it's about anyway. So I walk in and this woman tells me the only way I can cash it is if I have my license, social security card and credit card. I tell her I have a picture of my social but a credit card I don't have. I also proceeded to show her my debit card which she said isn't good enough either. I've never in my life not been able to go to a bank where my check is from and not be able to cash it! She needs all this info as if I'm opening an account with them or something! The check is written by "your" customer from your bank! I was so disappointed. I basically told her "so if I didn't own a credit card, then I'm not allowed to cash your check here?"... And her answer was "pretty much so, that's our policy!" She made me feel so awkward and inadequate about not having all these things as proof🤦‍♀️ Horrible experience and terrible teller and service. I wish I took notice of her name but she's a middle aged white woman with a nose ring and long straight hair with an arm tattoo. She gave me so much trouble for no reason at all because I went to another branch just a few blocks away and was able to cash it there with only my license no questions asked! As it exactly should be! I would never recommend this bank to anyone but especially would never recommend this awful branch in particular.
