    What a great group of people at table of hope yesterday! We were so in need of volunteers and a hardworking and fun group showed up. They went beyond the time they signed up for on a wet and warm day. If this type of performance reflects how they work on the job, valley bank is for you. Thanks!!!

    In 2024, I opened a Valley Bank Checking and Savings account at the Morristown branch on Madison Avenue. I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Clifford, Personal Banker, who portrays exemplary service, professionalism, and is knowledgeable on all services offered by the bank. Robert's customer interaction reflects his attentiveness and patience with each customer. When I visit the branch, Robert personally greets me and takes the time to ask me how I am doing. Robert has a genuine kind and caring personality, which is unique and very much appreciated. Robert is a true asset to Valley Bank. My banking experience at Valley Bank continues with Chavanie, Personal Banker. Chavanie is a first-rate professional, knowledgeable, experienced banker, who values her customers. Chavanie is always attentive and provides quality service to all the bank customers. She is adaptable and competent when needed in multiple situations. She exudes superior service on all levels. She is truly valued by her colleagues and customers. Larissa, Bank Manager, exemplifies caring and class, with every bank customer. Larissa is knowledgeable, professional, and provides superior quality service. Larissa frequently responds to the needs of the customers as the Bank Manager, which is an integral element of effective customer service. She exudes first rate service at its highest level.     What a joke of a bank--particularly if you are looking for an online experience. My own experience: I opened a CD online and had an ACH transfer made to fund it. Then, even though they advertise as an online bank, I found out that there is no way to withdraw that (i.e. my) money and the interest by ACH transfer when the CD matured. The principal and interest from a CD automatically is put into a new CD unless you go into the bank (took me an hour including driving time), and sign a letter authorizing them to mail me a check with the principal and interest and close the account. (There is no way to authorize the closing of the CD online. I tried calling twice on this. The first time, when I first discovered that the CD automatically renewed, they told me I had to go into a branch to get my money. The second time, a couple of weeks before maturity, I was cut off while waiting for the person I was talking to get back to me after putting me on hold.) Simply put, online banking, which they advertise they have, should be online both ways--money in and money out. Customer service is more than a smile, or thank you and "you are a valuable customer" while you are on a long telephone hold. It is making things easier for your customer and, for example, not trying to make it so difficult to get your money that you leave it at that bank in a CD that you don't really want.

    Very friendly and helpful staff at the Morristown branch who are very attentive to customer service. We recently went through getting a HELOC and the process was smooth and efficient. The branch staff is always available to answer questions or concerns. Calling the customer service # is sub par; waits are long and representatives are not as knowledgeable.

    Resolved after 2 weeks , great employees in a local bank . Follow up , called all numbers that were provided by customer service to resolve this issue, , no one answered the phone …. Unfortunately, you should bank elsewhere 42 minute wait on the phone just to report fraud watched my money go out of my account. Do yourself a favor and use a different bank
