We wanted to weigh some options before opening our account and asked to take some time to think it over and Wabeeda was very patient, provided her card and let us know she’d be happy to assist when we were ready. We returned same day to open our account and the process was simple and fast. We were even introduced to and welcomed by the rest of the staff in the branch upon opening the account. I feel confident in our decision to bank with Flagstar and look forward to continuing to work with the dedicated staff at this location.

This appears to just be PR of their reviews, nothing was done and I never heard from anyone. I called their customer service line and they were rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this rinky dink bank.

My client is under contract on a property with their rate expiring and will have to pay daily to keep their rate down after next week. My client deposited a gift check for their down payment, that Flagstar wants to hold on to for two weeks and refuses to release it sooner, because it’s their “policy”. Their policy is going to cost my client around $1,000 because Flagstar likes to hold their customers own money hostage.
