After holding a Wells Fargo account for over six years with no monthly charges, my account was changed to one that imposed a $10 monthly service fee—without clear notification. By the time I discovered the change, more than a year’s worth of fees had been withdrawn, and the bank declined to reimburse these charges. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Wells Fargo due to their lack of transparency and poor handling of customer concerns.
