- KRKris R.KJul 10, 20181.0Just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to check out local banks-- brought 6 rolls of quarters we found in the move to exchange for cash. Was told I couldn't exchange $ for $ without an account. Nothing more was said or suggested about opening account. I was just told no, it couldn't be done. Had to walk to a bigger bank to make the exchange with no problems (Wells Fargo--just down the street). Local banks struggle because they hold to outdated practices that make things harder for people-- like this. This also serves as a reminder for how difficult it is for individuals without accounts to have an equal footing in this country. That's not us-- our bank serves military families and we will continue with them. What local community are you really serving, Provident? Disappointed in you and will not be going back.
