- VLVanna LynnSep 17, 20251.0My family has banked with RSI , then colombia for 70+ years. I received a certified letter int the mail this week letting me know that Columbia has decided to terminate our relationship. No reaso, no warning. Just 30 days to get my money out. I called and Amanda (I guess she's some sort of manager) told me (and I quote, I recorded the call) "There are no notes on your account, however we are a conservative bank and you may have done business with a vendor that does not align with our company views" Well guess what! You're now losing all 6 of my family members that bank with you. What a JOKE! Can't even tell me why they're kicking me to the curb. Generations of trust - GONE! Columbia truly took a great bank and ruined it. Since columbia took over, I've had to get new debit cards THREE times from fraud. I don't even use my debit card unless it's to pay my credit cards. In the end- I'm probably better off without this bank because clearly they're not secure.

So I said whats up with your attitude she then tells me I am yelling at her. which I never did. I am a customer service supervisor so I know better by yelling at someone. I called because more than 5 times my husband went to cash a check and they did not. He works for an older lady who gives him a check. He would go there and they would say they called to confirm the lady gave a check. Every single time they would say they called and every single time the lady proved they never called. They would have him waiting for literally 30 minutes.Why would you treat people like this. When my husband goes to another branch they actually calls get the lady and he is gone. We shall never go back here and I will make the world know they are very racist there. The branch in south plainfield never made my husband feel so disrespectful. People if your coloured dont go there. They will lie to your face and disrespect you after.
