- EKesat kılıç6 days ago1.0Our experience with Jorge Pinilla at the TD Bank Clifton branch was extremely negative. I am a Canadian citizen, and despite having all the necessary documents, including my passport, to open an account, he persistently refused to open one for me. He repeatedly insisted on an address document, which I believe is not mandatory at other branches. Even though we calmly explained that this process was possible at other branches, and that we had even called another branch and received confirmation that it was possible, he simply kept saying, "No, I won't do it." We asked him to consult with his manager. He supposedly went to ask, but returned a few minutes later saying, "I asked the manager, and he said no," and closed the matter. His attitude was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. His banking knowledge was inadequate, and his approach to the customer was completely unbecoming of an institution like TD Bank. We were able to complete the same transaction at another TD Bank branch without any problems. We experienced significant time loss and stress because of this employee. I recommend that you avoid the Clifton branch, especially to avoid encountering this particular employee.
