- CCchristian cespedesJan 2, 20261.0This branch makes it hard for me to believe Citibank is ranked first in the 2025 J.D. Power U.S. National Banking Satisfaction Study. My relationship with this branch began with helping my mom navigate the complexity of the Citibank service offerings despite being a customer/client of Citibank since the 70's. I had to jump in because they simply could not help her with basic banking. My relationship has since transitioned to the executor of my mom's estate after her recent passing this summer of '25. Now that I am a direct consumer of Citibank products and user of services; I can confirm that the challenges to the relationship with Citibank thru this branch were not due to my mom's advanced age nor her deteriorating health. Trying to execute her estate through Citibank at this branch has been as difficult as can be imagined. I carry a sense of guilt having thought my mom's struggles with this branch were a consequence of her conditions. I have a few more steps to go to complete the process of setting up an account for my mom's estate to execute her final wishes. This is a second go around for this because I(as the customer/client) "did not understand the process" and "was not aware of the requirements". So, apparently this is my fault. Note, I made attempts to voice my concerns. I was given an opportunity to speak to the branch manager. Still, seems this was all my doing. I guess I'll have to figure out on my own how to make sure that my concerns don't die with this branch like my mom. Can't wait for my relationship with Citibank to end. My suggestion for anyone else is to not consider entering into one with them in the first place.
