- YDYash DeshpandeNov 3, 20251.0I went to this TD Bank branch to open a business checking account and the experience was unbelievably frustrating. The staff insisted I needed a Certificate of Good Standing which costs almost 300 dollars and other foreign entity filings in New Jersey just to open a basic account. After wasting time and money following their requirements I decided to walk into Chase. To my surprise Chase opened my business account instantly with no extra documents no unnecessary hurdles and I was out in five minutes. It is shocking how inconsistent and unprofessional TD Bank’s procedures are compared to other major banks. I have been with TD for almost five years but this experience made it clear that they either do not understand business banking or make it intentionally difficult. Highly disappointed.
