  I observed some rude behavior today at the Bernardsville Branch of TD bank. As I was conducting business with a teller , what appears to have been the branch manager ( or someone of authority) interrupted us , handed the teller, her employee, documents, gave him instructions and walked away. No "excuse me, pardon me...." Moments later she did the same thing to another teller and customer. Very rude to tellers and customers. Usually a good bank but not today. Do not interrupt your tellers when they are serving your customers. Seems like good manners.

  Guy at the front desk didn’t hit reset on our pins and we had to go to another bank. had a cocky smirk on his face the entire time like he was holding a laugh but he didnt even know what he was doing

  Today, my partner and I into the bank at 1:05 pm (they close at 2) to open a joint checking account. There was no one in the building except myself, my husband, Michael McGowan and another bank teller. We were turned away by Michael McGowan as he stated it would take 1 hour or 45 minutes or 30 minutes ( the times kept changing) to open a private checking account and told us to come back during the week. I explained to him that I work 2nd shift and this is one of the few times in our week we time have to make it into the store together. He stated he wouldn't be able to open the account now in the event other customers would come in and the store became too busy for the teller to handle on her own. We left and I checked my phone in the car, it was 1:10 pm. Now I typically don't like to write terse reviews as I have been in the services industry myself, but this was a huge inconvenience for myself and my partner. It's not like we walked in at 1:45pm asking to open a checking account. I can't help but wonder if we were refused service because we are two men opening a joint account, but in this day and age who knows. In any event, I will not be using TD bank now or in the future due to this experience.

  Staff is great, they always know you by name. Pleasant experience opening a new bank account, the whole transition was seamless.
