They hold funds for the max time allowed despite ALREADY HAVING THE FUNDS from the bank the check is drawn on! When you open the account they will tell you the max hold time, but say it rarely happens.....wrong. They do hold it for the maximum time allowed while they make interest from it! Poor customer service and shady practice but quite profitable when multiplied by the number of customers they do this to.
