- IIImProViKaDec 6, 20251.0Worst banking experience I've had in the lakes region area , I made a transfer from an account to my checking and they took it and made the account NEGATIVE, because they added a SERVICE FEE OF 10.00!!!?!? Alton TD bank is slow and has messed up 3 of my checks each week ( by not actually depositing the check / clearing it), , now I get a service fee of 10 dollars out of nowhere when I haven't had one all year , so I cancelled , the manager ( mike) couldn't even give a a reason of what the service charge is about ( per account ) and for what reason , he had nothing to say but , come in ... Like a salesman ,, horrible banking , go elsewhere to save yourself. Go to a new bank and save time and fees also frustration
