- SHSuzanne HartmanDec 29, 20251.0If I could give 0 stars I would. Ever since Great Western changed to First Interstate it’s been a nightmare. My husband was treated absolutely horrible at the L st branch while trying to deposit money into an account. They also cashed a check that wasn’t even from my account! I would assume the people who enter in checks would be very careful not to type in the wrong account number but that’s just not the case with them and $100+ was taken from my account for someone else’s electric bill. I went and closed my account recently and they took my debit card from me and failed to cancel it and 2 charges were made, which opened my account back up, and put my account at a negative balance. So now I have to pay that balance in order for my account to be closed. This bank is absolute trash.

I went to the one close to my home I gave them 5 stars never had any problems with them. I happened to be near the L street branch second time having a rude person.
