- MDMark DettyDec 1, 20151.0Welcome to Great Western Bank!! Home of the surprise fees. We'll charge you $7.50 because we don't bother to make sure the information you give us is entered completely in the system, because the .55 cent stamp set us back $6.95. I had provided a new address to the teller, and told her to apply it to all three of our accounts at the bank. She even confirmed the information before telling me it was done. Imagine my surprise when I checked my transactions and noticed multiple charges of $7.50 for "Undeliverable Mail". I went back and discovered that we had been billed for over 6 months, multiple times each month for this charge. When Great Western took over from Tier One we were informed that nothing would change. That Great Western is a small town bank based on small town principles. What has happened is nothing more than additional fees, upon additional fees. They are absolutely not what they say they are. Fees tacked upon fees tacked upon fees. I gladly withdrew all cash from my accounts, and immediately walked across the street to Pinnacle Bank. I have been treated much better there.
