We knew the bank closed at 5, but had all of our documents ready. We were told that they wouldn't even start the process because it was so close to 5pm?... Last I knew, most (competent) banks were able to open an account in 10-15 minutes maximum. The man implied that we HAD to be out by 5pm. Perhaps he had plans at 5...? Either way, super unprofessional. I saw this bank has been accused of racism before, so maybe that was a contributing factor. Either way, probably going to BB&T now.
