At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
I showed up there in person on Monday, with a boat load of issues that needed to be resolved. Issues that were ongoing. Issues hard to explain. Things could not have gone better. I was very relieved when I was leaving.

I don't bank there. I just cash my checks there. But I know for a fact you have to have a deposit slip along with the money or check. That's for any bank you go to. Just because your a client don't make you special. And the teller's there are very nice and respectful. One time I cashed a check and one shorted it by 💯 dollars, but I didn't think anything of it. Anyone can make a mistake. I went back later that day. They apologized and gave me my money, no questions asked.

Worst bank tellers ever! I deposit every week the same way and was told I can’t deposit more than 3 at a time? I asked her since when and she said it’s been that way.. I was then told I need a deposit slip when I have never needed one before? They actually told me they don’t do deposit slips for commercial properties… these people don’t know what they are doing they are disrespectful and nasty. I was attacked by 3 different people and was told I was being aggressive for asking questions? This is ridiculous they don’t know how to do their job!! They are arrogant and ignorant people and refused to deposit my checks it’s disgraceful and disgusting behavior. I’m reporting this branch because this is just unacceptable behavior for a bank. I hope they read this review and get themselves together. You guys need to grow up and be professional!!!!

I have called over 12 different branches and tried every possible way to speak with someone at BBT/Truist. The one single human that did pick up immediately connected me with someone else and I got to listen to their voicemail. I have left over over 5 messages in the last hour and a half, got one return phone call. The first thing out of his mouth was how busy he was and that he had 7 more calls to return. He didn't even ask me how he could help. I had to interject my reason for the call. I repeated my self three times before he actually finally quit repeating the wrong answer to my question. You could tell he was more worried about getting me off the phone than helping me. Why even have phones? You don't want to engage with the customer it seems. The branches are closed and only drive throughs are available with some of the slowest people in the world. I love watching and hearing the tellers stopping to talk about personal business instead of handling customer transactions. If you say something their response makes it seem as though you are the problem for being there, not their slowness and unprofessional demeanor. If the banks are so busy why don't they hire more people. I get the annual reports; their profits, revenue and assets are incredible, all at the expense of the customer. BBT can scream COVID all you want, but your customer service was bad before COVID and only got geometrically worse with COVID. How about when you do hire people, hiring people who can answer questions and know something about customer relations. I only gave BBT one star so I could post my complaint. I once heard someone call BBT, BB and fees. I see their point.
