- CHCraig HoffmanFeb 28, 20231.0I cant wait to close my account with WellsFargo in Porters Neck. I dont know who runs this office but it is always so slow and never enough employees. My most recent encounter was yesterday and again today, when i attempted to deposit a check from my deceased mother in law. I was told that i needed a letter stating my wife was entitled to the funds and her named beneficiary. We had the letter from our estate attorney, and went back today. We were then told we needed open a whole new account to deposit the funds in there, then transfer it to our personal account. These people running this place must get bonuses for New accounts opened or something, now they will just have a closed account. Heading to Truist. Goodbye wellsfargo.
