- LWLaura Myleah WilliamsJun 10, 20255.0Let me start by saying that by simply taking a look at the "☆" ratings, (tons of 5s and a bunch of 1s that have basically copy and pasted each other) the picture becomes clear. My son is graduating from Laney this year and both myself and my brother went to school there so I love Laney and I want nothing but the best for those kids. With that being said, I think you guys would have been much more effective if you would have scheduled an appointment with the manager and spoke to him or her in person instead of using Google to tear down a community organization that has helped a lot of people in this town over the years. 4 + generations of my family have banked there and we have had nothing but positive experiences there and have no negative words to say about State Employees Credit Union. I'm sorry if anyone has had a bad experience in the parking lot or if their children have, but something tells me this situation could have been remedied in a far more appropriate and efficient manner. All of the tellers are extremely friendly. The managers are warm and welcoming. I am a non-confrontational person so I understand if someone might prefer to contact management via email or even petition worst case scenario you could always take it to the County Commissioners. I'm absolutely not trying to come across as judgemental in any way and I totally understand and agree with most of your points. I just can't help but think that there's had to have been some kind of miscommunication somewhere along the way that could have easily been avoided with mature and open dialogue. I could be completely wrong and you guys have already jumped through these hoops and if so I apologize. Just throwing some ideas around. Many blessings.
