I need help making an ACH payment from my business account-normally a simple thing. However, after a lengthy phone call to Customer Service, they sent me to this branch for help. The rep wasn't knowledgeable and caused me to miss a deadline. Disappointing.

I was waiting to meet with a personal banker (who was late for my appointment and her Manager (Jennifer) was on a conference call), I noticed a woman, who I learned to be "Jennifer" come out to meet with a lady who was not happy with the service she received. The lady that was waiting seemed to be very friendly and pleasant... Jennifer came up to her and was super snarky and started off by saying "I hear you are irate and not happy", I was shocked that this was happening in the open lobby and right in front of me.... I was not a customer, yet.. I was there to open an account for my business, which I did not do. The waiting customer seemed as shocked as she said, I do not think I seem "irate, I am simply not happy and want to know why my account has a hold on it". Again, I am siting right there, looking at the ground as I was embarrassed to be part of this private conversation. Jennifer went on to tell her that she had closed her account and that she could take her business elsewhere. The lady said that she was coming to close it next week but had a busy weekend and needed her funds to operate her business. Jennifer went on to tell her that she was sorry about her luck and that she would get her the money, she went away and came back with what looked like a check, the lady asked for cash, she explained that she was NOT going to give her that, she would have to open a business account elsewhere and deal with it. The lady took her check and left, explaining that she had never been treated so rude and disrespected. I 100% agree with her, once she left and Jennifer was finished talking with all of the tellers about the actions that happened, she came to me and tried to help. I politely told her that I was very uncomfortable with this interaction and that I would never trust and organization that would let her lead a team, with my money. I left and have been very upset that people like her and the other girl that came to complain to the tellers, maybe her name is Jessica, were able to be a part of management. First Citizens Corporate needs to evaluate this busy branch, ASAP to correct the horrible customer service, unprofessionalism and lack of respect. I am shocked. Take your business elsewhere.
