Been a customer for a while, called to ask questions about a couple of transactions in my account and the teller Cody told me (in nicer words) that she can’t get caught up doing this and essentially she doesn’t have time for me and transferred me to a bankers voicemail. 0/10 customer service, as if her customers in the branch are more important? Very confusing and frustrating interaction. Would recommend Hampstead branch over this one.

No wonder this bank has a 3 star rating. No branch manager on duty so they have to rely on a response from the Hampstead branch manager. While you’re waiting there is also no restroom to use so they tell you to have a seat and wait or walk to Wendy’s to use the bathroom 🙄

I have plenty of issues with First Citizens as an institution already, I won’t even begin on it in this particular review. The only reason I still bank here is because the tellers are always so sweet at the branches I regularly use (downtown Wilmington, on College Road, Knightdale, and downtown Raleigh branches to be specific) Usually very helpful, even when the institution itself isn’t. Today I waited for quite a while in the drive through, which I won’t complain about in and of itself. Things happen, they have multiple people to serve, and I understand. However today, once I arrived at the window, the teller told me to wait so she could serve someone that had just pulled up in the next lane. Even the woman in the car looked confused, and kinda shrugged at me as she was being served. It was pretty clear that I had been waiting and she had just arrived. I was there well before her and was still there after she had been served. If this was my first issue with First Citizens, I would probably have l rated my experience 3 stars, or just not left a review, but after repetitive issues with fees, inconsistent and unclear policies, and problems with deposits, I have to give 1 star. The teller wasn’t outright rude, but wasn’t friendly either. Again, if my issue with First Citizens was isolated, I probably wouldn’t even mention it, but I’m so over First Citizens as a whole and I have every intention to say so.
