- TFTommy FosterOct 20, 20251.0Poor Service and poor management at the Wilmington NC Branch in our experience and opinion. We visited the branch to make a large principal payment. We asked three specific times to the teller to confirm the payment was made to principal. Two days later the payment listed all paid to interest. We contacted the Wilmington branch and the branch manager informed us there was a system problem. We contacted Bank of OZK corporate customer service who stated on a recorded line the branch manager had provided us inaccurate information. The rep stated the transaction was processed on a hand written ticket and clearly listed interest payment incorrectly. Bank of OZK customer service was very helpful and assisted us timely and professionally to correct the careless mistake at the Wilmington branch. We sincerely hope Executive management at Bank of OZK will take steps to address the poor management at the Wilmington location. Excellent Service from Bank OZK customer service line.

I worked with Rob Gauthier and Aza who were so patient and helpful in setting up my accounts. Great rates for my CD and Money Market. Highly recommend the bank and Rob! Oh, and they are dog friendly!
