A not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members, SECU has been providing employees of the State of North Carolina and their families with consumer financial services for over 80 years.
I have been banking with the State Employees' Credit Union for over 30-years and have had interactions with dozens of their branches. I think you will encounter rude people in every business from time to time but I have had nothing but the best experience from this particular branch! The Branch Manager and I go back almost 30-years. The staff, in my experience, has been nothing short of stellar. One thing that I have done that has served me well over time is to quietly and professionally confront employees (regardless of the business) that I felt were treating me poorly. In my experience, people can't or won't change their behavior if they're unaware of it. This can be a learning experience for them, but it's all in your approach.

Not sure why people are giving bad reviews. Just bored I guess. Excellent customer service!
