Centra Credit Union began when eight employees of the Cummins Engine Company came together to find a convenient place to save their hard-earned money while having access to low-cost credit. This foundational principle of "People Helping People" led to the growth of Centra Credit Union and is still at the center of who we are. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our profits go back to you in the form of cash rewards, better rates, and lower fees. When you open an account at Centra, you become one of the owners of the Credit Union. Centered Around You: that’s the Centra promise.
