  This bank knew that I had a niece coming in and taking money out of my mother's banking account. Though she had power attorney she cannot take all of her money! When you do, you have to show what it's been spend on and this bank allowed her to keep coming in over and over taking large sums of money. My mother has never taken out more than $300 at a time, and they were over 5 transactions with over three thousand dollars taken out at a time. This is why I have a lawsuit against them! Tina, that is the boss at the bank she gossips about when and what you do with your bank account with other people. They let my niece take over $4500. They need to fire every employee in this building, and I will be getting in touch with her main offices to help make this happen!

  Have used First Citizens for 6+ years now after moving to the area. Great friendly customer service and always ready to help. Got a home loan through this branch with Jan Revis and was always helpful with any mortgage questions I had. Even better First Citizens serviced my mortgage the entire time and didn't sell it off line a lot of lenders do. Highly recommend First Citizens for banking and the staff of this branch as well.

  They now close at 5 pm on all weekdays including Friday. Used to be 6 pm. How am I supposed to deposit my paycheck now when I don’t even get off work until 5 pm? What a crummy bank.

  The Grecian or Roman facade of this bank intrigued me before I moved to Sylva, NC. I spoke with Tina Moore who helped me set up my checking account and is very personable and knowledgeable. I worked with Jan Revis to set up my savings and get a credit card that works for me. I returned to talk to Jan about direct deposit and routine payment of my auto loans. When I evaluated the website before moving I was impressed with the online banking setup. I am not a fan of the Wells Fargo size banks that have cheated people with regularity. I feel very comfortable at First Citizens because of the people there. Well First Citizens has some really stupid clods running things; they declined to give me a credit card; so I moved my $50,000 savings to Jackson Savings Bank. When my old house sells where shall I deposit the $150,000? Not at First Citizens!
