    I took my son to open his first account after confirming with a representative what documents were needed. We arrived at the branch shortly before closing, still within business hours, but were told no one could assist us. When I asked for the branch manager, he stated he was the manager and still refused service, despite staff being present. Feeling confused and dismissed, I requested his card and called Wells Fargo’s 1-800 number. The phone representative, Joel, apologized for how we were being treated and confirmed that customers who arrive before closing should still receive service. While I was on speakerphone with Wells Fargo, the branch manager asked me to leave. When I didn’t immediately leave, he called the police. When the officers arrived, the manager falsely claimed I was “holding them hostage,” which was extremely upsetting and dangerous. I explained that I have been a Wells Fargo customer for 22 years and had only come to open my son’s account. I was escorted out and later told I was banned from the branch. While some officers were rude, their supervisor was professional, and I appreciate her conduct. I left the interaction feeling humiliated, disrespected, and discriminated against. I believe the branch manager misused his authority and treated me unfairly as a Black woman. I will be speaking with an attorney and the NAACP, and I may also request follow-up with law enforcement leadership. I also left a message for the call representative’s supervisor, as Joel handled the situation professionally and stayed on the phone until I left. I hope this complaint is reviewed, along with the call recording and branch camera footage, to prevent future mistreatment of customers.

    This was the best Wells Fargo bank I have ever been to. The tellers customer service was better than I have seen in years. The personal banker was so helpful. The manager was not so great. Didn't have any solutions for my problem. He needs some training. I had nothing but my phone ( lost everything). Needed gas and was from out of town. The teller and personal banker were amazing and very kind. This you very. Much.

    Very slow in accepting a deposit. I think they could do a lot better for current customers. 😱
