- RURon UtleyAug 26, 20251.0To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unprofessional behavior of a manager named Joel at your Southern Pines branch. This behavior led me to immediately close my trust account today, ending a relationship with your institution that has spanned over 30 years, from the days of First Union and Wachovia to now. This morning, I had a scheduled meeting with Eva Gater to discuss my trust account. We were in the middle of our private conversation when Joel interrupted. He rudely asked Eva if she was "about to be done" because she had another appointment. This public and disrespectful interruption was a breach of privacy and a direct cause of my decision to close my account. It is unacceptable for a manager to treat a customer—especially one of such long standing—in this manner. The behavior was so poor that I could not, in good conscience, continue doing business with your institution. I trust that you will take this matter seriously. I expect an explanation as to why this behavior is tolerated and what steps will be taken to correct this behavior.
