A not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members, SECU has been providing employees of the State of North Carolina and their families with consumer financial services for over 80 years.
Bad attitude at drive thru. Had to hit service button 3-4x times before getting a response when others besides got service asap. If you don’t like you job or life then level up simple as that. I’m cashing checks every week I don’t have to go there for bad service I can bank somewhere else.

I work at a car dealership. We sold an SECU member a vehicle 4 days ago and are awaiting payment from SECU. I called to find out information about payment we are owed by SECU, not the member, but Destiny informed me that we could not be provided any information because we were not the member. I’m giving a bonus star because you were not rude, but you didn’t even try to see if you could provide some assistance…not to mention the fact that you weren’t listening. We in fact do have every right to find out where the funds are.

Been a member here for over 15 years even after I moved. The one time I needed help from them they brushed me off and treated me like I didn’t matter. Called and emailed several times and a woman named Sallie Faison never returned my calls or emails for help. They’ve taken more money from me in the last few months in invalid fees than I could have thrown out the window. So sad about it but I will be leaving.
