  Just recently moved from VA to NC and realized that Langley Federal Credit Union is apart of my shared branching network. The branch is very nice and the employees are super friendly and helped me get my transaction taken care of!

  Update on 11/18 ( Updated Rating to 5 ⭐️) After my initial rating, I received a call from the branch manager, Cynthia, and I truly appreciate the time she took to speak with me. She carefully walked me through the scenario regarding my previous auto loan. Although I had originally received the best available interest rate of 4.99% at that time, it was only applicable for up to 60 months. She informed me that as of November 6th, the policy has been updated and the rate is now extended to loans up to 75 months. Cynthia provided me with several helpful options and even offered a courtesy waiver to support the adjustment. I’m very grateful for her taking the initiative to review my case, reach out, and clearly explain the additional steps that could be taken. This is exactly the level of service I value and appreciate from a bank. I’ll be working with Cynthia again soon for another loan, and I’m extremely happy with the overall experience. I’ve updated my rating to five stars based on this recent interaction. I will also be recommending this branch to my friends. ———————————————— Initial Rating (3⭐️) I’ve been a member of Langley Federal Credit Union for six months, with checking, savings, and a car loan for a new vehicle. With excellent credit, you can qualify for their 4.99% interest rate on auto loans (available for both new and used cars), and opening accounts was easy—just a one-time $5 membership fee. The mobile app is solid for transfers and deposits, and there are no monthly fees on checking with basic activity. I use the Falls of Neuse branch in Raleigh, NC. It’s easy to find off the main road, with ample parking and convenient hours. The biggest downside: they didn’t offer me term options when I got the loan. I later learned 72- and 75-month terms were available at the same 4.99% rate, which would have lowered my monthly payment. Now, I’d need to refinance or pay a $50 fee for a one-time modification—frustrating, especially since I wasn’t told upfront. That lack of transparency knocks the experience down. Staff is friendly and the branch is clean, but better loan guidance would have made a real difference.

  Everyone in the office was nice and friendly. The senior branch manager C. Jackson answered all my questions and was super helpful. Also Jamelle was helpful with making my first deposit. I’m very much happy with the outcome. Thanks to everyone in the office.
