- ACAmanda COct 22, 20251.0Atlantic Union Bank is a terrible banking institution. They locked me out of my bank acct over me disputing a charge. A simple dispute for under $30 caused a headache that lasted days. I had no access to my money at all. Then after forcing me to open a new account (somewhere else) and spending hours moving all of my subscriptions, insurances, auto payments over, it turns out the branch manager could have just taken the restriction off my account the entire time. They don't listen, they don't do what you ask even though it's your money. They told me wiring my money to my new account would be instant. 5 hours later and still nothing. They told me the transfer would be free, nope, a $30 charge. I have filed a formal complaint. AUB needs to make this right asap. Worst bank ever. Get a checking account ANYWHERE ELSE
