I do not leave a lot of reviews, but I can not believe how friendly everyone was in this bank today. Everyone I encountered said hello with a smile, and was friendly. I even made a comment or 2 about how I need to move to Pinehurst and bank with this Truist branch. The young lady who helped me (Isabelle?) was incredible. Very nice job at this branch! 👏

I've waited over 2 years to write this review. Till the anger had passed. My 90 year old aunt had an account with the Truist bank in Aberdeen (closed since). She had placed a cousin on the account as POA. My 90 year old aunt became unhappy with some things she figured out my cousin was doing and decided to come into the bank and remove her name from the account as POA. She went during her lunch because she still owned and operated a business at 90. Worked hard for every dime she had in this bank. Old school. The man who handled her account told my 90 year old aunt to come back another day because he was heading to lunch. Well, she never made it back because she fell and hit her head, and this same cousin persuaded the family not to take any life-saving matters. She starved to death. Said cousin cashed out her account with hundreds of thousands of dollars. One would think a person would be able to handle such a simple need for an elderly lady in a timely manner. One who was manipulated. May she rest in peace! She was priceless. She would be rolling over in her grave. Get your affairs in order! Do not delay. Today could be your last day. Never take a minute for granted! And most certainly, bank with a bank that takes care of your needs with kindness and urgent concern!

I deposited a check February 27th. Two bank tellers lifted it up for all to see and asked how I got it, and why I had it. My brother DIED. They told me it would have a 7-10 day hold, no problem. Fast forward to 2 months later, they took my entire account with no path for recovery. This is absolutely ILLEGAL!!!! And of course no one answers the phones. Thank you Truist for stealing my money and adding stress to a grieving family. There couldn’t be a worse bank. Will someone call me now that I’ve posted a review? Doubtful. Go elsewhere, everyone. Update: No response from this Truist, nor a Truist in Fayetteville, nor the fraud department, corporate, nothing as of 4/22/25.

Unbelievable. My friend has 3 Truist accounts. Tried to get money transfer to checking. A month later and multiple contacts not done. Nobody answers phone, does not return calls. Needs money to pay bills
