- SBShannon BrownMar 9, 20231.0Not being well educated and not experienced in the investment of stocks and such I trusted my funds with this particular location of Edward Jones. I even took up the offer of transfering my life insurance policy I had with a previous company for over 20 years, based on Judson's suggestion. After the process was complete I lost over $3k. If I was told of that information upfront from the very beginging, I would have not done such. I felt taken advangate of. I may not have a huge amount of money in investments but I definately do not like loosing 3k when it was avoidable. Maybe I have should done further consulting, but if you trust a company and the person investing your other funds, one would think they shouldn't have to do further consulting. Needless to say, all my business has been moved from this company. One other thing, please compare Edward Jones's fees compareed to other investment companies. It can save you more money!
