I had to give 1 star for the site to allow me to post a review. Even the 1 star is not deserved. I visited this bank last Thursday for my mother, who had surgery on Wednesday. She has breast cancer, and she is unable to get out. She asked me to deposit $200 into her account. The teller told me I was not allowed to deposit cash if I wasn't on her account. This is why I use state employees bank. The blonde headed teller was nothing but rude to me. Not only was she rude, she deposited a check into the wrong account, but I wasn't allowed to deposit cash. The day I visited this bank, my mom had recieved life changing, devastating, news. I am her only child, and her family is far away. Had the teller not focused so much on being rude to her customer, she may have deposited the check into the right account. I've never had a bank tell me I cannot deposit cash. This teller does not need to deal with the public. You never know what someone is experiencing in life, it's much easier to be kind. Shame on this bank for allowing her to serve the public with her rudeness on display. Because I work for the largest healthcare system in NC, I have shared my experience with as many people as possible. I've convinced my mother to change her bank to people that are not so rude.

This place is just terrible...tellers are rude and want to do as little work as possible and managers are showing them best way to do nothing...banks should be all about customer service as that is their business...at truist I think that has been dumped by the wayside ...count me as an ex-customer...

my experience with suntrust has been less than favorable... the atm at the stokesdale nc location is broken at least once a week for the last six months... this bank charges a fee of 2.50 to use other atms.. but what choice do I have when 30 percent of the time I cant get any cash unless the bank is open. I live in a very rural area so I cant just go down the street to another location. I have complained to the people working in the bank and I just get oh we are so sorry .. or they tell me I can go to walnut cove which is an extra 20 min from my house and of course not at all the way I need to go ...but no results.. I truly miss the days where customer service was important...
