Just sat in the lobby of the oak island branch for 30 minutes. No one greeted me or the other customers I was with. Lights were off in customer service office and branch manager's office. The only office that was occupied was the mortgage lending specialist. He would not even acknowledge our presence. All I wanted was to access my safe deposit box and had to leave without success. Is there some new rule that customers should not expect to be recognized between 11:00 and 11:30 on Tuesday mornings?

I went to refinance a car because the only way to do it with Truist is in person. They said we don’t have enough people to help you come back another day. No thank you, I’ll go somewhere else.
