I'm a local insurance agent and if you're banking with Wells Fargo, good luck getting them to help you with something. I've been trying to acquire payment for one of our mutual clients for OVER a month, and still have nothing. Policy is likely going to cancel at this point and I and their own client are left calling a 1-800 number every day to try to get this worked out. I'd find a bank that wants to take care of you properly, has someone that is willing to talk with you, & work with other representatives on your behalf.
- FHFrank HarperSep 30, 20255.0I've been banking with Wells Fargo in Morehead for many years. Never had any problems what so ever. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. I know most on a first name basis. What people have to realize in todays society it's hard to keep a full staff all the time. Owning several businesses it's been a constant problem and has nothing to do with how much they are getting paid. A large percentage of the last few generations simply don't won't to work or make an effort to learn and advance. Banking regulations and guidelines have changed considerably over the last couple of decades. The staff in many cases have no individual control over what you may personally want or be asking for. Of course I've had to stand in line several times like everyone else and it's not just at a bank, it's everywhere you may do business with. I haven't seen any discrimination at WF based on race, gender or anything else and frequent the bank usually on a weekly basis. Take into consideration your own attitude, integrity and patience. You'll find the staff to be as professional, prompt and courteous as they can possibly be. WF didn't get to be one of the oldest financial institutions in the US without effort and proper structure.
