At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
The reviews are accurate—this is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any bank, and it’s consistently that way. Be prepared for unwelcoming attitudes and staff who are either not knowledgeable or unwilling to assist with even basic questions. Walking in on a good day almost guarantees you’ll leave frustrated. I strongly recommend closing any account you have with Truist and moving to virtually any other bank—you’ll be glad you did.

I have banked with Truist for more than 8 years and my experience has never been so bad. Tanya at Truist bank in mocksville is not helpful, friendly or informative. I was doing something for the first time and was unsure of the process. She provided little to no information and was very cold. She seemed bothered to even assist us. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience.

I was frustrated at the drive thru because I was ask to show my license three different times when making a payment. After letting the teller know my frustration she came back 😔 to tell me they needed to update my husband's information. In the future the teller should pay closer attention to the information on the account and what is needed from who.🤷🏽♀️

I've been banking with this place over 40 years (originally BB&T). I recently lost my license & am waiting for the NCDMV to send duplicate. Truist won't let me access my account without the physical card. I have a copy of it, I have the NCDL # but they refuse to give me access without holding the actual card.
Customer service is a joke! No one in person has EVER said may we help you, let's explore our options, what can we do for you loyal customer, nothing.
When you call Customer Service you are now sent to a foreign country. Those folks only speak a script, they do not know how to have an actual conversation.
So fed up with this bank!!!
