Looking for rates on a loan. I tried to do it online, there was no information available. I finally found their customer service line, only to have to call 7 times for the stupid automated system to put me through, then they just hung up. Didn't even answer. I called the local branch and she told me she was not "experienced" in loans and couldn't answer the simple question of what are your rates or do you do a soft pull or hard pull to give me rates. Then she proceeded to tell me I had to come in person to get any type of information. Not a great way to start a business relationship. I will be taking my business elsewhere... byeeeeeee!

DONT WASTE YOU TIME!!!! I came to Truist because I needed to move from a credit union to a major bank. I did my research of all the major banks and on paper truist was at the top. When I came into the bank with my wife to open multiple accounts, they didn’t want to help us and tried to insist that we do everything online and acted like it would be a major inconvenience to have to fill out paperwork work. We insisted that we didn’t want to do it online, being our first time joining a major bank.i don’t remember the lady’s name but she is apparently the only person that can do this kind of work at your branch. Well here 2.5 month later, after making it very clear what debit cards we NEEDED, I’m trying to get ahold of corporate just to have them ordered. I should have checked the actual bank reviews because signing up, needless to say I’ll be taking my money anywhere else.
The icing on the cake, the manager Eric, when he heard that I called corporate, he’s whole tone switch from “apologetic” to “aggressive.” I see why there’s so many complaints about customer service here, they don’t care about their customers at all.
Customer shouldn’t have to make hour long phone calls, take time out of their day, or even have to worry about if their bank is going to do the things a customer requests…. That is provided by the bank.

I was in opening a business account today and I was helped by Kimberly and she was the best!!! She was so helpful and kind throughout the entire process! She went out of her way to help and guide me through it. It was probably the greatest experience I’ve had here. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone!

I wanted to open a business account at this location. They have disabled online appointments, and several online reviews said they never answer the phones, so I decided to walk in at 10:30 in the morning and be prepared to wait if they were busy. A banker welcomed us within a few minutes after arrival, but when I said we wanted to open a business account, he refused to help us and said we needed an appointment. I apologized, explained we hadn't been able to make an appointment, and said we had three different people all coming from different places to open the account. I asked if there was any way to help us, and he said no, we had to come back next week. So we went one block down the street to Fifth Third Bank and walked out with a new business account within about 40 minutes.
I know Fridays can be busy for banks, but if this location is going to make it impossible to make appointments ahead of time and then refuse to help walk-in customers, I'm not sure what prospective customers are supposed to do.

Never had a problem with this bank. However, I do conduct my transactions within their guidelines so as not to create conflict. Have always been treated in a welcomed profession manner.
My few emails or phone calls have always been answered promptly. Completely satisfied.
