I originally opened my business account with SunTrust and got swept into Truist during the merger. I never had any desire to bank with BB&T due to personal experiences, and Truist has done nothing to change that impression — in fact, it’s only made things worse.
This branch is just as disappointing as the Cureton Waxhaw location. Customer service seems to be a lost art here — definitely not in Truist’s playbook. I understand policies, procedures, and regulations, but what I also value is common courtesy and customer appreciation, which are both clearly missing.
I’ve been waiting for the Branch Manager to reach out since last week — still nothing. During my last visit, I went through the drive-thru to cash a $50 check. I have a business account and business credit card, yet I was questioned over a $50 transaction. For context, I’ve already closed my personal and another small business account due to repeated poor experiences.
It’s sad to say, but Truist makes it difficult to feel valued — especially as a small, Black-owned business. The bank talks about community and inclusion, but their actions tell another story.
At this point, I’ve only kept this account open for longevity on paper, but honestly, why should I care about loyalty when Truist c

I have worked with Ann at Truist in Wesley Chapel for the past several years for my small business accounts and she is always helpful and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you need any support with your small business.

An unprofessional and insignificant approach by management when the lack of a customer service experience was addressed and shared. A lot of excuses and no legitimate reasons why this branch does not have qualified tellers or employees handling clients in a more effective manner. It flows from the head. If the head is messy or doesn't quite handle themselves appropriately... the rest follow suit. Choose a different branch to conduct your business with!
